Hypocritical ?

So, today the gang and I went to KKBOX in karamunsing. Had a blast, even though I dint sing much. But watching everyone having fun makes me happy. =)

We sang many songs and Where is the Love by Black Eyed Peas came up, and as we were singing it, my mind wandered of to 2003 as I remembered the first time I listened to this song. I felt happy at that time that at least there were people who would still sing songs that make sense and touch on Love and how Love can really change the world.

Makin' wrong decisions, only visions of them dividends

Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria

First you go off singing about where values of humanity is at, singing about how media is affecting the minds of the young. Singing as if you really cared ?

Then, they come up with dirty videos, videos of partying, of disrespecting your own body, videos of money and all the materialistic things. How hypocritical is that ? As artist, they should be responsible of what they are singing and what they are showing to the world. They are the most influential people in the world , Kids look up to them . So you're asking where is the Love ? The right question is Do you even have love for yourself ? Or do you just care about earning money off all these sick songs that you play on television. Cant believe that they get rewards for singing all these irresponsible things. Makes me sick to my stomach.

ughhh. oh well, just a thought. =.=
